STATEMENT FROM LONDON. DENIED. FEES! association; ■ ’ , new PLYMOUTH, July 24. The London correspondent of several New Zealand papers recently forwarded an interview with a Mr T. Donne, who is represented as a gentleman who has periocted a process for tho successful treatment of Taranaki ironsand, and possessing considerable wealth, a big proportion ol wuicu ho ■is prepared to put into works for tho treatment of Ironsand deposits at New Plymouth. He alleges that for several years he has been baulked by the Now Plymouth Harbor Hoard m the matter of scouring an option or lease of ironsana deposits, and- uas been generally biidiy treated by the board. Tho Taranaki "Daily Nows" interviewed Mr J. H. tlounett, chairman of the board, on the matter to-day. Ho stated tuo board had never had a single communication from Air Donne, but had from an associate of his, Alr"A. W. a. naunecy.
