WEDNESDAY. JUDY 24. (Before Mr W. G. Riddell, S.M.) ADLEGED ASSAULT. Thomas Patrick Pritchard was farther remanded until tho 31st mst. on a charge of assaulting Neil MoDougall, quartermaster of the Morayshire. THEFT DENIED. Thomas Jones pleaded, not guilty to stealing a pair of boots valued at £ X, the property of Daniel Coronno, and was remanded until to-morrow. INSOBRIETY. For insobriety, Owen McAleavy and three first offenders were fined 10s, and five first offenders were convicted and discharged. BY-LAW CASE. Norman Diggle was fined ss, with costs 17s, on a charge of driving a vehicle on the wrong side of Cuba street on Jifly 2nd. Mr E. J. Fitzgibbon appeared for defendant.
