Prizes of £ 2, £l, and 10/- will be awarded for the neatest and most prettily coloured picture advertisement cut from this page and sent in by children under 15 YEARS OF AGE. THREE SPECIAL PRIZES of 10/- each will be awarded for the neatest and most prettily coloured advertisement cut from this page and sent in by children under 12 YEARS OF AGE. ; • \ CONDITIONS: Competitors must be under 15 years of age. The painting must be entirely the work of the competitor. The picture or pictures must be neatly coloured with water-colour paints or crayons. Competitors may colour the whole page if 'they choose. Each competitor may send in as many paintings as Ihe or she chooses* but only one coloured advertisement is really needed to compete for the prizes. The name, age, and full address of the competitor must accompany each painting, which must be signed by parent or guardian. Age especially must be clearly stated. Prize winners in former competitions (except winners of consolation prizes) cannot compete. The paintings will be judged by the editor, whose decision will be final. Prizes will be awarded on points gained for (1) Good Scheme of Colour ; (2) Neatness of Execution.
