GILR AT—COOPER. Miss Afar Cooper, eldest daughter of tho Hon. Mr Justice Cooper and Mrs Cooper, was married yesterday afternoon at St. John's Church to Dr Thomas Gilray, of. Napier Hospital. Tho church had been prettily decorated by girl friends of the bride with lycopodium, divisies, and arum lilies. The Rev. Dr Gibbs performed tho ceremony, and Mr Jtaugban Barnett officiated at the organ. At St. Paul’s Pro-Cathedral yesterday afternoon Miss Ethel Martin, second daughter of Mr and Mrs T. F. Martin, was ‘married to Mr Ernest Anderson, second son of Mr David Anderson, of tliis city. Tho ceremony was performed by tho Bishop of Wellington, assisted by tho Rev. A. M. Johnson, vicar of St. Paul’s, and was fully choral. The bride, who was given away by«her father, wore white satin with slashed overskirt, edged with chiffon mchings, and long panel train. The bodice was draped on one sido with a wide Honiton lace bertha, and a tulle veil was worn over a coronet of orange blossoms. Miss Martin was bridesmaid, and wore blue silk with a laoe fichu, black hat with blue plumes, and carried a bouquet of violets. Tho two small daughters of Mr and Mrs David, Anderson, junr., were also bridesmaids. They wore white muslin dresses, pale blue sashes and caps, and carried posies of violets. Dr Anderson, brother ,of the bridegroom, was best man. After tho ceremony the guests repaired to the residence of Mr and Mrs T. F. I Martin, where a reception was held. Mrs Martin wore eaxo blue silk with Oriental trimming, black hat with- blue mount, and carried a bouquet of arbntillons. Mrs David Anderson, mother of the bridegroom, wore black with a velvet cloak, and black and white bonnet. Mrs A: Anderson was in black cloth, Mrs Ballanco in black velvet, and Mrs Griffiths, black oharmenso and white lace (all Aunts of tho bridegroom). Mrs Edward Anderson (aunt of the bride and bridegroom), wore grey silk and a black hat; Mrs Wilberforco (aunt of the bride), green silk and a green and black hat; Mrs Milward (aunt of tho bride), grey silk with Oriental trimming, and a black hat with white plume; Mrs Milward (Wanganui), brown cloth costume and fawn hat, with brown and yellow ribbon; Mrs Sbaw (sister of tho bridegroom), white cloth and a black plumed hat; Mrs Milward Anderson, mole charm enso with bisont coloured trimming, and a black hat with pink roses; Mrs Anderson (Christchurch), grey with touches of sake blue, and a grey and bine hat; Airs David Anderson, jnnr.', "grey with self-QoloUred trimming and a black hat, and carried a bouqnet of pink carhations: Miss Anderson, grey with hat to match; Miss Wilberforce, pale blue, with pink flowers on a black hat; Miss Fancourt, blue silk and a black and white hat: Sirs Coleridge,' black ninon over white, with pale blue sash, and black hat.
