BADEN-POWELL’S LEGTURE

A large demand for seats for General Baden-Powell’s lecture in the Town Hall on Wednesday evening has set in, and a full house~seems certain. In the counle. of hours at his disposal General Baden-Powell will touch on a great number of important features, hut probably the one most appealing to the public who attend will be his experiences at Matching and in the Transvaal. It should also bo a pleasure to see some of the general’s own pictures reproduced and described by him during the lecture. Messrs J. and N. Tait announce that the sale of unreserved two and threeshilling tickets will commence on Monday morning at the Dresden, and those who anticipate being present at the lecture are advised to secure seats well in advance.
