WEDNESDAY CRICKET
The Wednesday cricket championship tourney was continued yesterday, but, on account of heavy rain, stumps were drawn early. Playing against Rivals, Union made S 9 in their first innings (McGill and Wame 21). For Rivals, vare took five wickets for 50 runs, and George two for 20. When stumps were drawn Rivals had made eiglß runs for tho loss of three wickets. Vivian v. Oriental.—When stumps were 'drawn for tho day Vivian, in their first innings had made IS7 runs ( for eight wickets (Dumbleton 80, Cording 50). For Oriental, Ryan took six wickets for 50 runs.
