ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL
The annual meeting of the. Y.M.C.A. Association Football Club was' held last evening, Mr C. Atkinson presiding. The report, which congratulated members on the success of the club, end the balance-sheet (which showed cash in hand amounting to 12s 9d and an excess of assets over liability of £1 3s 3d) were adopted. . ♦ ' The election of officers resulted:—President, Mr Baloombo Brown; vice-presi-dents, Messrs W. T. Williams, 0. JP. Smith,- J. M. A. Ilott, G. Shirtchffe, C. Atkinson, -C. Timperley, and J. G. ! W. Aitken; ton. secretary/ Mr C. Coates; hoii. treasurer, ’Mr W. Wilson; club captain, Mr E. Phillips; delegates to Wellington Football Association, Messrs J. Ince. W.- J. Mears, and Q. Coates; auditor, Mr A. Smith; management com-, mittee,' Messrs G. Smith, J. Ince, B. Chartres, and Stevens; senior selection committee, Messrs Phillips, Hollis, and Coates; junior selection ■ committee, Messrs Stevens, Plant, and Nimmo; third-class selection committee, Messrs Chartres, Evans, and Shoch.
The subscription . for senior members was fixed at 10s, for juniors at 7s 6d, and for third-class fc 6d. Messrs H. N. Holmes, A. Macklin. Timporley, and E. Gibson were elected life members.
The annual meeting of th© Wellington Football Association will bo held in th© Y.M.C.A. rooms on Wednesday evening nest.
