MR F. T. MOORE
MOTOR CAR ACCIDENT. A BROKEN ABM. Mr F. T. Moore, Labour candidate in tfie second ballot for the Suburbs seat, met witli a serious accident on Saturday whilst motoring between Pahautauui and Porirua. The car 1 overturned on a narrow part of the road, Mr Moore breaking his loft arm near the -wrist, His two daughters, Miss Iris Moore (of the Wellington Hospital nursing staif), and Kathleen (of the Wellington terrace school teaching efafi) were in tho oar, but escaped uninjured, and eo did the driver. Notwithstanding his broken arm, Mr Moors walked from the scene of the accident to Porirua, and there addressed the electors while Dr. Grey was being brought from tho Mental Hospital to set the broken limb. For bis courage an extra veto of sympathy was' earned and congratulations extended on the escape of his two daughters., Mr Moore intends to pursue his campaign as though nothing had happened, and: will carry out his advertised programme—to address three meetings in different centres each evening till Wednesday, and devote tho whole of each day to visiting electors in all ports of tho constituency.
