AVhat Island ? Answer to last week’s Picture Puzzle; Hotel. SKEEING As to the proper pronunciation of the verb "skiing” the "Literary Digest” says: "The first i has the sound of i in marine, and the word is composed of two syllables, ski ing. ‘Skeeing’ is recognised*-as an alternative spelling.”
