Rivals, who had made 13S in their first innings, put on 163 in their second essay, making an aggregate of 301. Union made 146 and 203 for three wickets, an aggregate of 349. Batting for Union, VVarno made G 9 not out, Taylor 37, Soverin 36 and Harris 35. Oriental v. Vivian.—Oriental, who made 290 in their first innings put on only 3? in their second attempt, giving them an aggregate of, 327. Vivian made 37 and 103 —an aggregate of 140 Vivian's team on Thursday was not complete, onlyseven men batting. Post and Telegraph v. Artillery'. —ln their first innings Post and Telegraph made 174, and in their second 129, making an aggregate of 303 (Knapp 55). Artillery- compiled an aggregate of 207 155 and 52 for eight wickets. In junior matches Union ■ defeated Oriental by 4-S inns. Y.M.C.A. beat Artillery by four wickets. Chemists beat lied Cross by 15 runs.
