HOME RULE
MB ASQUITH’S PROMISE. (Received December S, 0.45 a.m.) LONDON, December 7. Tlio Premier, Mr Asquith, in reply to Mr O’Brien, said that if necessary the Government would use all constitutional moans to pass home rule within the lifetime of the present Parliament. Nationalist cheers greeted the statement.
