A CONTRACT CASE
CONCERNING A HOSPITAL. The Supreme Court was occupied for the greater part of yesterday with argument and evidence in the case of Wilson v. Harcourt, an action in connection with a building contract. Tho Chief Justice (Sir Robert Stout) was on thebench. The plaintiffs, James and Archibald Wilson, of Wellington, building contractors claimed to recover from the defendant, C. J- S. Harconrt, of Wellington, land 'and estate agent, the sum of .£4Ol 3s Id alleged to bo due on a contract for the erection of a private hospital at Hastings- . . Mr C. B. Monson, instructed by Mr Gray, appeared for .plaintiffs, and Mr A. W. Blair for defendant. His Honor reserved his decision.
