The vessel is to leave Wellington about tho beginning of January for, Avonmouth. Mr H. Longmorc, second officer of the Tofua, has transferred to the Tahiti as second. Mr P. T. Fisher, late chief officer of the Wakatipu. has joined the Tofna as chief In succession to Mr J. W. McKenzie, who has resigned from tho service. MOERAKI FEOM SYDNEY. At 2.30 p.m. yesterday the Moorakl arrived at Wellington from Sydney and berthed at No. 1. north (outer tec), Queen’s wharf. Tho Moeraki, left Svdncy at 5.30 p.m. on Saturday, and had fine weather with smooth eea till early yesterday, when tho weather became .very thick, and a strong north-westerly wind and considerable sea were experienced until arrival. The Moeraki is to sail at 5 p.m. to-day for southern ports, Hobart and Melbourne. EUAHINE AT HOBART. At 4 o’clock yesterday afternoon the New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Enahine arrived at Hobart from London and Plymouth yia Capetown. The vessel is expected to arrive at Wellington on Monday next. ,
