SITE SECURED IN LONDON.

MELBOURNE, December 6.
The Federal Government has decided to acquire a block of land facing the Strand, London, as a site for Commonwealth offices, at a cost of about, £350,000, and to erect buildings costing £200,000.
THE “MORNING POST’S” SUGGESTION.
LONDON, December 4.
The “ Morning Post” suggests that if the freehold could bo secured all the Dominions should join with Australia in building offices, including trade and emigration agencies, on a Strand site.
