THE AUSTRALASIAN TEAM. SIXTH MATCH AND SIXTH WIN. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. LONDON, October 11. The Australasian League football team, played its sixth match in Britain to-day, when it met a thirteen at Widnes, Lancashire, in the presence of 4000 spectators, and won by 5 tries, four of which wore converted, to' nil. In the first half Gilbert and Brossnham, for the visitors, scored tries, * which Francis converted. The second half saw very rough play. There were frequent fights in the scrummages. Holloway and Darmody, two of the Widnes players, wore ordered off. McCue scored once in this spell and Courtney twico. Francis converted two of the tries. RESULTS OF THE TOUR. The following are the results of th« matches played hy the team to date: September 23.—Northern Union League, at Coventry: won by 20 points to 11. September 25.—Yorkshire, at Sheffield; won by ,33 points to 13. September 30.—Broughton Rangers; won by 27 points to 13. , . . ■ October 2.—Lancashire; won by 40 points . October V.—Wales; won by 28 points to 22. October 11.—Widnes; won by 23 points t< nil.
