MEETING OF ASSOCIATION COUNCIL.
SPECIAL TO THE “ TIMES.” CHRISTCHURCH, October 11. At a ineeting of the council of the New Zealand Hockey Association, the hod, secretary of the Hawke’s Bay. Association wrote stating that a disqualification imposed on a player had been extended for twelve months.on account of a,repetition of the offence for which • the first disqualification was inflicted. TRe disqualification was endorsed, as was a disqualification until December 31st, 1916,- inflicted by the Wanganui Association on one of its players. . k In regard to the Nordon Cup competition, it was decided that tho West CoaetMarlborough match be postponed until next Easter, the date to be fixed by the shield committee, ,and that th© final be-* tween Manawatu and th© winners of the former match should be played at Blenheim. If Easter is not suitable, the shield committee will arrange another date. ; . • *
