Junior.—Central, North, East, South, Hutt, Victoria College, St. Mark's, Y.M.C.A., Petone, Wellington College, and Catholic Club.

It was stated that the St. Patrick’s CoL lego, Johnsonvillo, and Kosoneath Anglican Clubs.would also probably enter teams.

It was decided that all championship games commence on October 21st. The question as to whether Victoria College should be classed as junior, oi Petone brought up to senior, was held over till Tuesday next, the position of the Petone team to be inquired int<? meantime. The matter arose as a result of the’desire to avoid a bye in the senior competition. Messrs Wiren. Parton, und Willis wcr« appointed a junior chnmpionsnijr com* miftee, and Messrs Bay. McConnell, and Proud were appointed to Ioo!i after the third class competition. ... It wins decided to grant permission for four boys from the Marist Bros._ school to bo nominated for coaching,- and regret was expressed that tho Public Schools Association had declined to admit tho Marist Bros.' school to the schools comr petition.
