Adkins accepting a Rccordorship, resulted as follows: Sir AT. R. Adkins (Liberal) 6863 AY. A. S. Hewins (Unionist) 6452 Majority HI At tho general election in December last. Sir tV. E. Adkins polled 7071 votes an d Professor Hewins 6284, a Liberal majority of 787.
