THE JUNE QUARTER. Tho value of the imports to New Zealand during tho quarter ended June 30th was .£4319,518, against .£3,456,879 for tho corresponding quarter of 1910. Tho imports included specie, Auckland .£50,01(1, Wellington .£200,000, Christchurch .£50,015, Dunedin .£50,039, 1 against specie amounting to .£IOO,OOO (Wellington) and Jl5O (Auckland) for.the Juno quarter of last year. The principal countries from which imports were received were: £ United Kingdom 2,511,337 New South AVales ......... 531,6*42 .America - 402,840Victoria 295,587 Germany 100,841 Ceylon 72,544 Bengal 58,216 Canada _ —. 48,924 Western Australia ‘ 33,827 Franca 30,394 Tho exports for tho same quarter amounted to =£4.726,369, against ,£5,714,578 for tho Juno quarter last year.
