LONDON TALLOW SALES By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. LONDON. August 2. At the tallow sales 452 casks were offered and 142 sold. Hutton, fine, realised 35s 6d per cwt, a drop of 6d since last week, modi um was unchanged at 32s 6d; beef, fine 32e, unchanged, medium 31s, a drop' of 6d.

The Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, • have received the following cablegram from their London house, dated August 2nd; Tallow.—Wo quote present spot values for tho following descriptions:—Good mutton 34s 6d per cwt, good beef 32g per cwt. muted 29s 6d per cwt. The market is inactive. Wheat.—We have sold an Australian cargo at 34s c.i.f. Tlie market is firm but Inactive, and crop reports are unfavourable. American market not likely to improve at present.

LONDON. August 2. Tho American visible supply of wheat and flour east of the Eocky Mountains is estimated by “Bradstreot's" at tho equivalent of 54.553,000 bushels of wheat, against 47.282,000 bushels last week, and 23,214,000 bushels a year ago.
