TVTOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting .of the Miramar Borough Council, hfeld at the Council Chambers (King’s Cliombers, Willis street, in the City of Wellington)'on tha 6th day. of July, 1911, it was resolved: In pursuance and cxercise_ of the powers vested in it in that. ' behalf by “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908,” “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908,” "The Local Bodie.s Loans Amendment Act, 1808,” and “The Wellington Harbour Board Reclamation and Empowering Act, 1908,” and all other Acts, powers, or authorities (if any) vested in it •or in any wise enabling it in that behalf, the Miramar Borough Council doth hereby resolve (by Special Order) as follows; "That for the purpose of providing Hie interest and other charges on a Special Loan of .£SOOO authorised to be raised by the Miramar Borough Council under the provisions of ‘Tha Local Bodies Loans Act. 1903,’ for the, purpose of contributing towards the cost of the Miramar wharf and roadworks as provided by ‘The Wellington! Harbour Board Reclamation and Empowering Act, 1908,’ tho said Miramar Borough Council hereby makes and levies a. Special (Rate of One-eighth of a Penny (id) in .the ■£ upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Miramar, comprising the whole of the said Borough of Miramar, and that such Special Rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half yearly on the Ist day of June and the Ist day of December in each and every year during the ‘ currency of such loan, being a period of 26 years from the Ist day of June, 1911. or until the loan is fully paid off. The above resolution will be submitted for confirmation at a Special Meeting of the Council, to be: held on FRIDAY, the 4th day,of August, 1911. at 12.30 p.m. at the Council Chambers (King’s Chambers, AYillis street.
