Members of the Colonial Mutual Life Assurance Society, Ltd., met on Wednesday evening at Go-dber's to celebrate the winning of a* gold medal, presented by the Hon. Agar Wynne, a Melbourne director, for tho best Australasian results for the half-vear ended Jure. Mr P. T>. Leslie (resident sccreJary for New Zealand) presided. Roll of honour certificates were presented to Messrs E, T>. Buchanan and H. Foiuhols, Fapier and Chriatchurch representatives respectively, for exceptionni work done. For 'host divisional resiFt? in Few Zealand a tea- and coffee service, oak tray, and set of carvers were presented te Mr Bnmes. and a roll of honour certificate and gold modal awarded to Mr A.
