THE POSTER BALL
The general committee of tho poster boll held its final meeting yesterday. All tho subcommittees reported excellent work done. Bis Excellency tho Governor and Lady‘lslington will h? present. The ball is to open with a grand march of tho posters, who will afterwards parade on tho stage for the purpose of being judged. After the judging of the posters the fancy dresses will also parade and bb judgetl. The judges are Dr Collins, Air Wardell, Airs Wilford, Mrs Field, and Airs AI. Boss. Owing to the large number expected those who hold tickets for tho gallery are requested to attend early. The doors will ho opened at 8 d’clock. Tickets may bo obtained at the hall.
