Bond Lansdowno, writing to Lord Canrpordown, who announced that he was prepared to vote with tlio Government if his action would prevent the •creation of now peers, stated that ho Juul recommended his supporters to abstain from voting. Personally ho •would not vote with Ere Government when tho Parliament Bill was returned to tho House of Lords.
