mss ENVOYS’ APPRECIATION. Mr W. A. Redmond, M.P., prior ta leaving AVellington, sent the following letter to the Hon,. J. A. Millar, Minister of Railways: “Dear Sir,—l desire, on behalf of my colleagues and myself, to personally tender you our most grateful thanks for tho kindness and thoughtfulness which prompted you to grant us free passes over your railways. I can assure you that wo thoroughly appreciate the compliment. . “If we might venture an opinion on tho management and conduct of your State railways we would at once bo compelled to state that the whole system reflects the greatest credit on the management. We have experienced at the hands of the officials of your department nothing but tho most extreme kindness and courtesy. “Wo should bo obliged if you would tender our congratulations to Mr 1. Ronayne, tho general manager. I may add that one of the best reforms wo hope to bring about under Homo Rule will bo the nationalisation of the Irish raibvays.
