There were 217 thirdclass passengers, of which 56 were booked for Wellington, 87 for Auckland, 6 for Napier, 4 for Gisborne, S 3 for Lyttelton, 3 for Timaru, 23 for Dunedin, 1' for Westport, 3 for Greymouth, 10 for New Plymouth, and 1 for Wanganui.
