WOMEN’S POLITICAL LEAGUE
The ooen meeting of the Women's Social a lid Political League last night was a great success, over 100 being present. Eight new members were elected. Music was supplied by Messrs Archer, Moore and Wiggins, and songs were sung by Madame Mentiplay, Mrs Moore and Miss Gallichaii. Recitations were given bv Meedames Brown and O'Sullivan and Miss Lennox, and Mrs Sinclair gavereadings in palmistry. Dancing and light refreshments helped to pass a very pleasant evening. For the next social a larger hall will be procured, as the jmasanfc ball is far too small.
