HOURS FOR CLOSING MAILS.
The Secretary of the Post Office has writtea to the ‘Wellington Chamber of Coin- - morce, im reply to a letter asking for a later hoar for the closing of the mails, stating that instructions have been : given for the English mail despatched via Auckland to Txreloscd at 11 a.m. instead of 10.30 a.m., and for the. south 1 mail despatched, by ferrv steamer to be closed at 6.15 pm Instead of 6 p.m. daily.
