MOUNT COOK POLICE COURT.

Mr Horace Baker, J.P., was on the Bench at j'osterday’s sitting of the Mount Cook Police Court. Two first offending inebriates. who were on bail, were fined ss, or twenty-four hours’ imprisonment, and two others were convicted and discharged Georgo Broughton and Henry Swanson were convicted and discharged for insobriety, and for tho same offence John James Priest was fined 20s in default seven days. Charles Goddard was fined 5s or in default twenty-four hours, and John Robson, Joseph Kenny, and Maurice Sullivan were each mulcted in a penalty of 10s for inebriety, the alternative being forty-eight hours’ detention.
