THROWN UP BY THE SEA.
TKEBS ASSOCIATION-. BLENHEIM. July , 31. On Friday afternoon Mr C. Kenny, who lives on tho shores of Tory Channel, picked up. on the beach a bottle containing the following message, addressed to a Timam resident, Mr G. T. Johnston“ Boat capsized three miles from Timaru.” The discovery was reported to the harbourmaster at Timaru, who replied:—“Circumstances correct. Preserve message.”
