BONNY GLEN’S VALUE
VICTORY FOR NORTH ISLAND DRAUGHT. A private telegram has been received that tho Hon. J. D. Ormond’s noted pedigjee draught stallion .Bonny Glen realised tho top price at the Melbourne sales of COO guineas. This is a groat victory for tho Hawke’s Bay horse, especially in view of tho way he was degraded at tho Christchurch show by Otago judges. Mr Walter Archibald (Mr Ormond’s. manager) is to bo congratulated on this practical testimony of tho outstanding quality of Bonny Glen. The Melbourne verdict fully bears out tho criticism of the Christoliurch judging which appeared in those columns at the time.
