At 2.47 p.m. yesterday the fire brigade wore galled to 18, Turnbull street, Thorndon. where a 9-roomed dwelling occupied hy Mrs M. Casey was found to require attention. Only slight damage was done to the Avail and ceiling of a bedroom on the first floor. The building is insured in tbo Commercial Union office for .£7OO, and the contents.in the Norwich Union for AIOO.
