Some concern was being f-eit at Launceston (according to the Hobart "Mercury” of the 20th inst-J for the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Waiwora, which was several days overdue from London to Beauty Point. The vessel was originally due in the Tamar on July 16th, but a week ago the Tasmanian Woolgrowers’ Agency Vo. received advices by the English mail that the vessel was calling at Fremantle to replenish her bunkers, and therefore her arrival in the Tamar was not expected until July 19th- No word, however, had. been ' received until July 20th of her arrival at the West Australian port for coal, n.nd as. the passage from Fremantle was likely to take seven or eight days, her arrival in the Tamar would therefore be much over the scheduled tune. The Waiwora had nearly 1800 tons of general merchandise for Beauty Point. Captain Charman cabled that he expected to arrive in the Tamar on Monday, 24th inst. AN OCEAN TOW.
