WELL!NGTOIST METROPOLITAN CLUB. The ‘Wellington Metropolitan Coursing Club bad an afternoon for local coursers at the WaUacevillo enclosure on Saturday. The weather was all that could bo desired, but the attendance was small. The trials proved interesting, tho bares running very stoutly. Raffles worked very cleverly indeed. 1 Tho hare keeping out frqm tho escapes au exciting trial was seen, but Raffles was a fair winner when puss reached cover. Mr A, J. Parsons acted as judge and Mr Denoghuo as slipper, both doing good work. Results; WINTER STAKES. Middlemans!! heat Given Days (2). Headlight beat Czarina 11. (5). Tara boat Presentation (9). Captain Starlight beat Tho Leader (5). First Ties. Headlight beat Middlcmarch (7). Tara beat Captain Starlight (3). Deciding Course. C. Shaw’s Headlight (Tho Sailor—Nightfall) and Slason and Stewart’s Tara (Xtex —Flo) divided the stake. BURKE STAKES. Raffles beat Royal Artillery (1). Euberoid beat Kilfilem (1). Deciding Course. J.
