BOYS’ INSTITUTE
A social for senior members was held nrt tho Boys' Institute under tho auspices ot tho “Busy Bees" and tho “Independents," the two teams organised for an attendance campaign for the Sunday meetings. Various contests were hold, mcl-Td-ing a lively game of “punch-ball, which •waa worn by McCarJie's team. Refreshments, provided by lira J. Sloan, were dispensed by tho boys' committee, at the close of which J. Uowitt and H. Martin addressed tho boys on tho advisability ot joining tho “Busy Bees’’ and Ind<y pcadcnYts" respectively. Tho basket ball contest resulted in a game for each side. fph|A junior division contest for attendance, etc., at their meetings on Friday evenings has had good results.
