FUNERAL TO-MORROW

BODY TO HE IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBER. CHRISTCHURCH, July 23. The funeral will leave the City Council building at 2.30 pan. on Sunday for tho Addington Cemetery.' The body will bo brought to tho Council Chambers at 10 a-m. on Sunday, and will remain in tho chamber until the afternoon. The council chain bar will be open to tho public between 10.30 nun. and. 2 pan. cu Sunday. GOVERNMENT AND. PARLIAMENTARY REPRESENTATION. The Government will be represented at Mr Taylor’s funeral by the ■ ActingPrime Minister (Sir James Carroll), the Hon. Geo. Fowlds, and Hon. D- Buddo, who leave for Christchurch to-night. Mr C. A. C. Hardy, chief Opposition whip, will officially attend <m behalf of tho Opposition. Among members who intend to bo present are Messrs Laurenson, Davoyv Witty, and Poole.. NEW ZEALAND LABOUR PARTY. Mr D. McLaren, M.P., as president of the New Zealand Labour party, will attend tho funeral. AELIANCE MOURNERS. The New Zealand Alliance will be represented at the funeral by tho following Mr Wesley Spragg (president). Rev. J. Dawson (secretary). Rev. W. J. Connie (chairman of executive), and Messrs A. R. Atkinson, W. J. Helyer. G, Petherick, and C. H. Poole, M.P. Mr John Cross, of Mastorton, will represent the no-lioenso people of Masterton at the funeral. A memorial service is to bo held in tho Town Hall, Wellington, on Sunday week, August 6th, at 3.30 pun.
