FOB BEING IN A SHOP USED FOR GAMING. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. BRISBANE, July 28. Mr Cottell, a member of the Queensland Assembly, and one of tho strongest anti-gambling speakers in tho. House, has been fined one shilling for being found in a shop used for gaming purposes. The defence was that Mr Cottell was inspecting a piece of furniture.
