BLUFF HARBOUR
ETTLOGISTIC REMARKS FROH A SEA CAPTAIN. PBESS ASSOCIATION. TNVEROAROJjLL, July 2S. ■ At the invitation of Captain jucDougall, representing th.o Shaw, SavlU and Albdcca Company, representative city men were entertained at luncheon to-day aboard the R.M.S. Corinthic at the Bluff. The gathering was notable for the tribute paid by Captain Hart, of the Corinthic. to the arrangements at the Bluff harbour. In proposing success to the harbour Captain Hart (whose vessel had com© up the harbour In the darkness) said it was a harbour capable of extension when the future demanded it. The harbour was all right, and the fact that tides had to be watched was nothing unusual. "When the Corththio could enter on a dark night and com© alongside without so much as crushing an egg. it completely refuted the charges that had been made against the harbour. 'As to* the deepening of the port approaches, wharves, lights, etc., they wore all first-rate.
