GENERAL FORECAST FOR TO-DAY. (By the Government Meteorologist.) Present indications (5 p.m. Friday) are for a falling barometer in the southern districts, with increasing northerly and easterly winds. Little movement, and moderate to strong easterly winds are probable in the northernmost districts. Unsettled and cloudy weather may be expected at times generally, and showery in parts.
