RAMBLERS HOCKEY CLUB DANCE

The Ramblers Hookey Club s dance, which took place on Thursday evening, was a moot successful function. The danco was entirely carried out under the direction of the ladies. The chaperones were Mosdames Nathan and Hislop. i Tho hall was decorated with ropes and festoons of lycopodium, starred with scarlet flowers, while red and white curtains partly enclosed the stage, comfortably furnished for a sitting-ont place for those not dancing. Th© supper tables in the room above were arranged with potpalms and blue and white ribbons, the colours of tho club. A feature of tho evening was tho ribbon dance. Ribbon in tho club’s colours and numbered in duplicate was given out to those present, blue to tho ladies and white to tho gentlemen. Each gentleman had to find the lady with tho corresponding number to his own, and then danco with her. This was a novel idea, and served to bring -tho guests more together.
