Mr Knox, senior counsel for defendants, again occupied the whole of tho day’s sitting at tho Vend case trial. His Honor interjected that ho considered that tho evidence of Mr Lane, representing Scott, Fell and Co., was discreditable, disclosing discreditable transactions.
Mr Knox contended that there was no evidence to show that the sh ipping companies had charged excessively.,
