GOVERNMENT TENDERS
The Public. Worts Department has accepted the tender of J. Ryan and Son, at -£ll3O, for alterations and additions to the Eltham post office. The- tender of \V. N. Bmnton and Son, at J 21327, has been accepted for the supply of wire rope for Point Elizabeth State Colliery No. 2. P. R. Bail'ie and Co., Wellington, have secured the contract for the supply and delivery of 20 000 Leclanche cells to the Post Office at J 8854. The tender cl J. Du-thie and Co., Wcitinßton, for, the supply and delivery of galvanised iron telephone wire to the Post Office has been accepted. The price is to be .£l2 Gs per ton.
