COUNTING THE SHOT.

Every expert sportsman, knows the importance of the proper counting of shot for cartridge charges. W. W. Greener, the greatest authority on this subject, says that the number of shot in a cartridge is of far greater importance than the weight. "C.A.C.” Cartridges, anmbor and weight, are proportioned with absolute precision. The most popular sizes of shot for game shooting in England to-day are 41. 51, and 61. No imported cartridges charged with these numbers are procurable in New Zealand. But the Colonial Ammunition Company makes them. These cartridges secure a more even pattern of shot, and more regularity in the size of pellets. “C.A.C." ammunition is stocked by leading storekeepers, ironmongers, and ammunition dealers throughout the Dominion. 11
