NOT DUE TO SPRAYING. By Telegraph—Press Association — Copyright (Received July 12, 1.5 a.m.) MELBOURNE, July 11. Tho Federal Minister of Customs (Mr Tudor) has received a report from tho commiftco.appointed to investigate tho cause of bitter pit in apples stating that tho disease was found in apple trees which had never been sprayed. Tho report also stated that tho committee considered that tho theory that spraying was tho cause had been disproved. Further investigations ate pending.
