FEDERAL CAPITAL CITY
FOUNDATION LAID OF FIRST BUILDING. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. SYDNEY, July 11. The foundations of the first building in the Federal capital city have been laid. It will form a branch Public Works Office. Generally the scene'at Yass-Canberra is one of activity. All the roads leading to the site of the now capital are being reconstructed in a substantial manner.
