MUNICIPAL ORCHESTRA,
The Municipal Orchestra at their -usual weekly practice last night welcomed back the majority of those members who had been playing with the Sheffield Choir and who returned yesterday morning in the MararoaThe orchestra has again got into its usual swing, and good work was done at the rehearsal preparing for the next concert, when a particularly attractive programme will be presented. The fame of this, the only municipal orchestra south of the line, has evidently reached London, .as a well-known firm of music publishers' has sent out to Mr Maughan Barnett with their compliments and best wishes some music for its library, and which is accepted in the spirit'it has been given., and will be included in some of tneir future concerts.
