SPECIAL TO Tin: "TIMES." AIASTEBTON, July 11. The first annual competitions of tha Afasicrton Musical and Elocutionary r'orapetPions Society commenced to-day. The entries totalled 205, and include competitors from Wellington, Palmerston* North, Waikanae. Lunedki. Wellington, and Wiiirarapa. The musical judge is Dr J. C. Bradshaw. of Christchurch, und the elocutionary judge, Mr 0. N Buoy- *• rtz. Mrs F. Montague, of Wellington, is the accompanist.
