ARREST OF A CLERK.
CPECIAI) TO TIT'S " TTOSS.** PALMERSTON, July 11. A young man named Arthur Harold Bunn, who has been employed as a clerk at the Palmerston office of the 10-al firm of Messrs Bell, Gully, and Cooper, was arrested by Acting-Detec-tive Sweenev vesterday afternoon on charges of the theft of 10s on May 10th. and of .£1 on May 11th, the property of the employers. Bunn subsequently appealed before Mr A. D, Thomson. S.M., and was remanded till Monday, hail being allowed, in accused’s own recognisance of ,£2OO, and two sureties of £IOO each.
