A London cable message received on June Bth stated that on the preceding day some motor cycljsts wot© travelling along tho main road near St. Albans, when one of them, named Saul Splitters, was overtaken by another cyclist, who demanded money, and fired five shots from a revolver. Tho motor cyclist was critically wounded. Ilav was arrested, and confessed that h« had fired tho shots.
