STDNUY ISSUE OVEB-SUBSORIBED. Cable ad vice was last evening received from Sydnev by the Now Zealand Brokers (Messrs W. H. Turnbull and 00. and Messrs Irwin and George) that the 100.000 shares offered yesterday to the public in Sydney have been over-subscribed. This is evidence that the publ*’c has every confidence In the sound nose of the company as a good investment. As the subscription I*et only opened yesterday morning in Sydnev, the demand for shares must have been keen, and the stock ehcuM soon be at a premi im. Messrs Turnbull and Co. report that a large number of shares have been applied for locally, and they expect that the total number reserved for New Zealand will be over-subscribed before the advertised date of closing the list, viz., the 31st instant.
